L'Olivia Houseboat

The primary objective of this mission was to provide comprehensive, high-quality audiovisual coverage of the "L’Olivia" houseboat, moored along the iconic banks of the Seine in Paris. This operation aimed to document the beauty and elegance of the vessel while showcasing its unique and prestigious location in the heart of the capital.

The production focused on creating high-end visual content to highlight the houseboat's sophisticated design and its exceptional setting. To achieve this, a series of aerial and ground-level shots were captured to document its architecture, atmosphere, and seamless integration into the Parisian landscape.

For this mission, a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2 drone—equipped with advanced sensors and high-resolution cameras—was deployed to capture spectacular, detailed aerial footage in full compliance with current aviation regulations. Operating in such a dense, tourist-heavy, and strictly regulated flight zone required rigorous planning and close coordination with local authorities.

High-resolution video and photography were complemented by photogrammetry data, providing a precise digital representation of the houseboat and its surroundings. This data was then processed using specialized software to produce professional audiovisual assets, including promotional videos, feature reports, artistic perspectives, and technical visual documentation.

The use of drone technology maximized safety, eliminating the risks associated with manual filming in dense urban environments while ensuring pinpoint accuracy in every frame. This approach also offered optimal efficiency by reducing production time, minimizing disturbances to local residents, and lowering operational costs.
